Smart Storage Solution in a Challenging Location

When De Groot Installatiegroep approached us to build a 60,000-liter net water tank for a mist installation, we knew this project would be a challenge. The tank had to be installed in a basement, with the only access being a narrow doorway. Our solution? An innovative coupling system that allowed us to produce the tank in 24 prefabricated parts, connected on-site.

Using our DVS-certified welding technique and leak detection, we ensured a safe and reliable construction. This project at TU Delft now serves as a robust water buffer for the mist installation, which activates in case of fire.
